With a background in rapid-response for gubernatorial and ballot initiative campaigns, Gordon Li conducts complex regulatory and legislative research to assist clients with message development, grassroots advocacy and crisis communications.
Gordon has experience in a variety of policy areas, including finance, energy, environmental protection and technology. In addition, Gordon has extensive experience filing and managing FOIA and public records requests, as well as vetting messages and messengers for organizations engaged in public debates.
Gordon began his professional career with the 2006 Schwarzenegger re-election campaign where he prepared research briefings on candidates, position papers and media summaries for the campaign communications team and media. He also conducted field research as a tracker. Prior to joining the campaign, Gordon was the Student Director for the Cal-In-Sacramento program at UC Berkeley, a California politics class and internship program.
Originally from the East Bay in California, Gordon attended UC Berkeley, where he earned a degree in political science and legal studies. He currently resides in Sacramento.
